The Brief: Use collage based techniques to create a cover and interior spread for an unconventional travel magazine. (student work)

For this I wanted to make a cover on hippie communes and made a collage using images from the Taylor Camp in Hawaii. The interior spread was based on a story on Manchester during the industrial revolution. Laid the thing out and sketched over the type and brought it back in to get that effect.
